I have worked with Jay Kweskin of KwesCare in taking care of a client with dementia in a very complicated family situation. Jay was always dependable, present, and excellent at de-escalating many difficult situations. He did all that was needed for the client and even went above and beyond many times when it was necessary, proving to all involved that he truly cared about meeting the client's needs above all. When there was with conflict between family members, Jay kept on the course of keeping the senior first and often was the one giving ideas of how her care could be improved while respecting the power of attorney's authority to make all the care decisions. As a colleague involved in the situation, I found Jay to be communicative, open, and always a willing problem solver. He was truly great to work with, and he has the temperament and attitude that makes an effective care manager for seniors.

Her stroke was in a word devastating, I'll never forget the day it happened.... As luck would have it, my wife mentioned the situation to her boss at work, and he gave her the number to KwesCare....It was the best call I could have made. I can't tell you how much time and energy I saved by talking to Jay, let alone the stress that was taken off from knowing I have the information and the resources I needed to get her the best care we could afford. Jay took the time to meet with me and discuss what I could expect to encounter on this journey. Right from the get go he took a personal interest in getting to know about my mom and her situation and about me and what I was experiencing through all this. Jay made sure he understood what my expectations were with regards to care for mom, and what I could expect to find along the way. Jay has not only helped us find the right home for mom, he has even gone to visit with her when I was laid up in the hospital recently. Jay was my eyes and ears when I couldn't be there, which was very comforting to mom and me. I highly recommend KwesCare and Jay Kweskin, he really made a difference for us!!

I would like to express my review of the services I have received from Jay for my mother. He helped me find a great independent living apartment for her which was near my home and reasonably priced, but still has extra care if needed. Another important thing he has done for me was check on her periodically when I have been out of town. I’m her only child and my children are out of town at college, so I need someone to keep an eye on her a couple of times during the week I’m gone. He goes by her apartment and makes sure she’s ok, or he takes her to see her audiologist in the building. Jay will call, email, or text me an update when he has seen her. He also reports anything he notices that is abnormal in her behavior. Jay has much experience in this area, unfortunately, but he is using it to help others. In addition to a vast knowledge based on education and experience the staff at KwesCare consistently demonstrated a sense of kindness and compassion beyond expectations. I have had the pleasure of being able to use and lean on Jay Kweskin's assistance for my brother's care. My brother is suffering from Parkinson's +. Interacting with him can be a challenge.

Jay's calm and friendly demeanor has been really effective in getting my brother to accept and interact with him, in spite of his reflexive resistance to accept new people and procedures.

If I am called out of town and need to make sure that my brother is properly monitored and/or that, some intervention might be required, I will not hesitate to use Jay. He has been a real positive influence on my brother.
